Vandalism / Graffiti

Both. While it does fill out those bland concrete areas nicely it shouldn't be put somewhere where the owner of the place can take offence.

I agree. It is indeed art, a lot of it is very impressive. But, it is vandalism if it isn't your property and you don't have permission, so...

They are a nussance but some are ok in my opinion like:

It depends what they are drawing/creating.

I dont think tags of people is artwork because it is simply putting there name onto something which isnt theres which is obviously wrong.

But i think they are many works of art which are simply amazing, i knwo it is probably againest the law to graffiti anywhere apart from certain areas where i is permitted.

But i think some teenagers do it just because it is banned /illegal in certain areas.

It makes it cool to do it because you are being a rebel...

i specialize in it.

I think graffiti is vandalism. We as graffiti taggers, know it is vandalism, but we still like to do it

I only like it when it's tasteful and well done like Banksy. Otherwise just scrawling profanities across the wall or 'so n so was here' is just pointless and ugly.

Theres alot around here. Really nice artwork. I don't like the tags they are pointless and bloody ugly.

This, pretty much sums up my thoughts.

Its a nuisance. I don't care how pretty it is. People tag up anything and everything across my neighborhood all the time. I also cant go to a public restroom anywhere without seeing something obscene written on the walls.

In and around the downtown area it has been embraced by many business owners and even the city to paint ugly power transformers and the big medal boxes that hold phone lines. And it looks good and I am all for it if it is done by the consent of the owners and the city.

Otherwise you are a criminal who vandalizes and in my opinion a thief of someones property should added to those arrest charges. Because if you spray that on some concrete walls, fences and other structures you never get back the original look ever again.

Mine as well. :|

I think that where you have a shit part of town that is run down and uncared for graffiti can be an improvement, but where there is a nice place where the local community takes care of the area I think that graffiti is vandalism
