Dishonesty, arrogance, bad losers, pavement/sidewalk cyclists, elitism, 'can't be named for legal reasons', 'all names have been changed', pixellating out of people's faces on pictures, people famous for nothing such as reality contestants being branded 'stars', the word 'nope', the word 'oftentimes', the word 'cookies' being used for what we here call biscuits (sounds babyish), animal cruelty, women who consider motherhood their right, celebrities who whinge about the pressures of fame, the word 'gotten', the phrase 'off of' and similar, the word 'prolly', 'could of' and similar, saying 'a couple minutes' instead of 'couple of minutes' and such, celebrities having bodyguards, mass generalisation, social class and caste systems, the country names United Kingdom and UK (it's just Britain to me as it is not a united country and never will be), playground mentality on fora, corporate greed muting music on YouTube for copyright reasons, the popular music of the last 30 years, superstition, wasps, celebrities who keep their relationships and sexuality secret, celebrities who marry in secret, the words 'anyways' and 'anyhoo', 'each and every', the word 'boom' being used out of context, the words 'doggo', 'birb', 'pupper' and 'cray cray', the word 'near' in place names as in 'I live near San Francisco'. No, you don't. You either live in San Francisco (or wherever) or you don't and the word 'hubby' for husband.

There are another 2 but one is controversial and the other may be interpreted wrongly. My main grievance of this lot is superstition.

I was out with my husband today. We were at Barnes and Noble standing in line to check out and the people behind us stood uncomfortably close. Move back. Give someone some room. Every time we moved to give us some space, there they were back close again.

Me too. Most of time there's usually room to move elsewhere so I don't but like this experience, there was nowhere to move which was annoying.
