…what small (and big) things in life really grind your gears and make you rage and seethe….what are your pet peeves and irritations…?…..

Cats. Dogs. Oh...
SLOW DRIVERS IN THE FAST LANE

people that tell me, " I'm bored". then, you give them suggestions of things to do and they just say oh, it's boring.

lateness/ laziness. it annoyed me as a kid, it annoys me now

people that have big dreams, and expect other people to hand it all to them on a golden plate

a song plays on the radio, you really want to know what it is but the dj doesn't tell you

people that ask, " how are you?", then walk away before you answer

strong perfume. I mean sure, it's good to smell nice, but not when it gives someone else a headache it isn't.

people leaving the door open while they go to the toilet

animal abuse

commercials showing the most extreme animal abuse they can think of

babies that constantly cry (which is why I will never have kids)

back pain/ leg pain/ stomach pain/ any other type of pain you can imagine
sleepless nights

loads of others.. I'm going to come back to this thread

There's a lot, not all of which I want to put down now, but I feel what grinds my gears the most is of course people, certain ones, who feel like everyone's grief is the same. That because we all have gone through grief at some point we must have the same experiences and recover from it the same way.

There are several tasks at my job that are unofficially my jobs. It bugs me to no end when someone else not only does one of those jobs, but then doesn't do it according to my standards.

bad texters, the entire U.S. government and justice system, double standards, favoritism in the workplace, minimum wage, "fake nice" people, the way money makes the world go round and somehow most of the planet's in poverty

oh and TAXES man just tell me what I owe. damn

…and everyone’s experiences and coping skills and opportunities and environments and support networks etc are all the same…in that…’oh, I got by and thrived with this experience in life so you should equally do the same ‘…type thing…?…a one size fits all type outlook, yeah that’s a pet irritation for me also…

I got more.

People that constantly talk about the tipping thing. For example why they don't tip. The same argument that jobs should pay workers and not them. Jobs should pay workers a decent wage but if the server is doing a good job of being attentive to patrons, answering questions, keeping drinks filled, etc then they do deserve something. If service sucks then no way. If you don't want to tip fine, no need to keep arguing all the reasons why. So annoying.

Entitled People.

Bad drivers. Texting on the interstate why driving 60 mph.

Another one... rolling stops!

Yesterday I was driving through a green light, and this guy on my right had a stop sign and didn't stop at all just kept going, think he had slowed down a lil bit by the time he got to the stop sign but it was still too fast for my liking. He was literally a foot away from T-boning me. And I wasn't even past him yet. Ooooh it just irks me though like even if you think you're not gonna hit someone, the other person doesn't know that bro, if we just see you keep going like what do you expect, I'm gonna be on full alert and anxious when I shouldn't be.

That reminds me...most cyclists around here do not follow the rules of the road and it BUGS me. It's mostly the coasting through stop signs that grinds my gears. I even saw one cruise through a red light one time.
