What are your plans for Thanksgiving this year?

For Thanksgiving this year it'll be just my parents, myself, an uncle, and my grandma. We invited another uncle and his family but not 100 percent sure yet on if they'll come. We've done a big family Thanksgiving thing in the past. We usually do something for Thanksgiving every year like doing a turkey or a ham along with some sides.

So what are you going to do this year if anything?

Nothing here, same as every year. We just sort of hang around and do nothing. Everything closes, so not much to get out and do, either. So watching movies, keeping my mother calm, that's about it here

I feel the price of stuff is why I feel a big family gathering isn't happening in some families this year too. I am unsure why we're not doing a family gathering this year. I think some people just feel like it's too much cooking and mess to clean up. I am totally fine just keeping it small anyway.

Oh absolutely! Prices are absolutely ridiculous right now, makes sense to keep it small, but less and save what you can

Just going over to my mother-in-laws house since she hosts Thanksgiving every year. I'm curious what the mood might be for this year since her mother passed away recently and so this will be the first year where she won't be present.
