What do you think about the covid shots?

I think people want things to be normal and are just saying screw it at this point, it seems like.

The place I work at, they told us that you can either a) get your shot or b) wear a mask if you have gotten the shot. Well, this only lasted about a week before they said the Supreme Court blocked OSHA from allowing companies to do this.

I agree. I think people are tired of the whole Covid thing by now.

Plus, has anyone else noticed that they're not talking about Covid at all now because they are all focused on Russia attacking Ukraine?

I know right. The US better not freaking send troops. I'm so sick of the US playing big brother. No one sends troops to us when we need it....

I'm sick of the Covid controversy. I'm always careful when I go out, pandemic or not.

All I know is that China is not accepting the fact that this coronavirus originated from them. If I can only have a choice, I would not have two shots of this vaccine.

It's interesting looking back on this. I was one of the first people to line up to get the vaccine, but after getting those two initial shots, I haven't gotten it since then. I suppose that is three years ago now? Now I wonder about the long term health effects associated with getting those shots, personally.

I got 2 shots, and it altered my DNA!!

How's your heart? My nephew's doctor recommended that my nephew NOT get the covid vaccine because of the heart issues young men were having after having it.

How many times have you had Covid, BTW?

I thought the Covid shots were microchips from the government, and Covid was spread by 5G towers?

This is usually from the same people who think vaccines cause autism, and EMF sensitivity is real and dangerous.

I do believe in the EMF thing, and no, not because I watch Ghost Adventures. hehe

They’ve disproved the EMF sensitivity thing in multiple types of blind tests. They’ve basically proven that people either are putting the blame on the wrong thing that’s causing the headaches (ie the headaches didn’t start until after you noticed the new cell tower), or it’s a nocebo. The latter basically showed that people failed to correctly notice EMF, as they only generated headaches when they were told it was present, or failed when they had a box that randomly generated EMF, and never correctly guessed when it went off.

On top of that, the Earth generates EMF’s naturally.

People also don’t know the difference between ionizing and non-ionizing radiation, and just skip to the radiation part, making all radiation bad.

I haven't even heard of the EMF thing until this thread.

There’s a huge rabbit hole of nonsense involving people being either scared, or claiming to get sick from EMF. There’s a ton of “totally legit” blog articles that people cite as legit, and a cottage industry of scam artists selling snake oil to these people.

The irony of all this, is that people who learn about this stuff all get it from the internet, while using EMF emitting devices….

Did these claims start from the onset or is this recent? Crazy that I've never heard of it.

Apparently the earliest report was in 1991, but claimants blew up in the mid 2000’s. So it’s between 20-30 years old at this point.

I never heard of it until I met I met this married couple who’s into all those weird medical “conspiracies”. They’re kind of like walking stereotypes who somehow find all these random blog articles that are into weird alternative medicine, and are anti-vax, and anti-5G.

That’s one of several reasons why I don’t take EMF sensitivity seriously. It’s proposed by people who read these weird niche blogs, or got it from a guy who knows a guy (all while getting this info off the internet, which means they’re using EMF emitting devices…). Multiple tests proved humans can’t detect it, and I work in IT, where you’d think working with people who did 30+ years in IT would have some side effects of it by now…

Oh yeah, I heard about the 5G being a problem, but no real science to back it up.

Then there was that one show...Better Call Saul, wasn't it his brother that had this issue (he claimed)?

Most of the people complaining about 5G have no idea what they're talking about. Tieing it to Covid is like... wut? Or its real implementation is to control the microchips in the vaccines the goverment made everyone get. Some real tinfoil hat stuff there...

From an RF standpoint, 5G isn't that different from 4G (G stands for generation), but some of these people didn't care about 4G... or the previous generations, but woah now, 5G? OMG

There's also an accurate meme floating around about people using the previous generation of cell frequencies (they were previously scared of) to post online about the dangers of the next generation.
