Do anyone of you have regrets in high school? I feel we all have done or said things we wish we didn't in high school. I disliked high school personally.

I'd for sure say not at first being more confident. Not getting my drivers license or doing drivers ed but that was due to being in work study my junior and senior year.

My biggest high school regret? Going to high school, lol. I wish I'd taken more computer science classes in high school, I loved computer classes as a whole, took as many as I could, but never got to the computer science side until university.

I regret going to my senior prom. haha

What's the point of regretting anything anyway? What is done is done. What isn't done, isn't done, and won't be done. I suppose I could say I regret, say, not being one of the popular kids, but in truth:

I was who I was. I did what I did or not did. I took Obi-Wan Kenobi's advice and moved along. :)

Hmm, I suppose I could have been more social and had more fun. I did have a small group of friends but I never went to parties and I wasn’t Mr. Popular.

Being popular wasn't and still isn't anywhere on my bucket list. I'd rather be a geek, nerd, dweeb, whatever than "popular", whatever that means.

I wish I'd taken classes more seriously and chose to sit in the back row less & goofed off less. I just MIGHT have learned a little more.

Not standing up for myself so people would leave me the hell alone. Being the quiet/shy type in school I pretty much put a target on my back for people to pick on me and bully me. I was so self-conscious at the time. Though, middle school was a lot worse than high school in regards to bullying and idiots throughout.

Absolutely feel you there. Bullies are disgusting people.

Indeed, whatever they can do to boost their ego and make themself more popular in the eyes of their peers, they'll see to it.
Absolutely. Little do they realize that they'll be nothing when they grow up, high school is meaningless as a social circle, but the damage they do can last a lifetime.

Indeed, nearly all friendships in high school fade away eventually as an adult. I know mine did, for the most part. I think I've always had somewhat of a negative, skewed perception of humanity that all started with the bullying in school, so it can indeed have a lasting impact on your mental health.

Oh absolutely, same here. There's only one person from high school that's still in my life and that's my sister's partner. Otherwise, no one I knew then is still in my life.

Totally agreed on the mental health impact, they have no clue what damage they do!
