Cats. Cats, cats, cats. They are so quirky, have their own personalities. The ones I've had throughout my life have been very affectionate in their own ways. It just feels like a mutual understanding. I'd probably be a cat myself if I were a different species.

notation* Copperheads get a bad rap, Ja; they're very peaceful in the wilds of Western North Carolina and as long as you give them space, they'll leave you alone. Even when you encounter one, its' usually a surprise to both and the times that one's bitten somebody, that's usually why it happened. That said, they are very territorial so if you see one, give it a wide berth.
