Peeler are a kitchen tool that almost everyone have one in the kitchen this days.... There are many types like
Swivel peeler, Straight peeler, Serrated peeler and many more not a lot you can talk about this but i was wondering if you use one what kind
and how often? or if you are like me that i hate them i never use them i prefer to use the chef knife
there are times i use the paring knife but the chef knife is what i use most times.

Serrated. Can't beat it for peeling carrots, but DON'T catch your finger with it ; most everything else I use a knife.

This can be worse than knives if get a cut sometimes
Oh! definitely!

Have to be really careful; but with a little practice it seems more efficient. ?? maybe

Before I tried this I had a drawer full of the non-serrated, swivel kind & could never get one sharp enough to work correctly.

For the most part, I DO NOT peel vegetables or fruit.

The outer covering of most of them contains the majority of the nutrients, fiber, and FLAVOR in the things.
I do agree; I never peel potatoes, turnips, peaches, plums, etc........but carrots, yeah, if they're big & especially rough & look un-appetizing.

To paraphrase Anthony Bourdain

"is an overcooked carrot ever a bad thing?"
Stix, Dude, stix! You want your carrot stix to look pretty! (y)

I agree a lot can be eaten without need to peel, but sometimes a lot can be difficult to clean, not easy to digest, also inedible... or depands what you cooking ... so you have to peel them .
