What other software would you want Off Topix to run on?

I'm a phpBB fan.

I have been using it a number of years and I also provide support for it on a customer and enterprise level with a webhosting company that I work for and the one that I own.

However, I have been using IF for like 15 years and I love it. So I can't argue with that and I was sad when they went to Zeta (I do understand why though).
I recently was turned on to XF back in 2014 and I now provide user support for it with the customer and enterprise customers with the web hosting community I use. So I guess you could say I am partial haha.

Because I like IPB and not Xenforo lol
Still Xenforo is not that bad used here. I actually don't mind it much.

I am going to be probably playing around with the design elements as I am contemplating upgrading my forum to it this week.

It's not in its final form yet... It's a release candidate version... I agree, the 4.0 version of IPB looks pretty awkward... I'm gonna stick to the current version I have until they iron out all the bugs...

Hopefully they iron out some things in 4.0 because as it stands currently: its awkward, not very user friendly and uncomfortable to use.

That's coming from someone who hasn't sat down & invested a ton of time into using it. So, what do I know?

...I'm open minded. I don't just say I don't like something without giving it a chance first. I'll wait until I use it more to come to a conclusion

I like vBulletin but for Off Topix, run with Xen is the best option now.
