If you want I can mail you a bunch of my unpublished manuscripts, and torture you with horrible writing

The scarf and mittens that an elderly woman made for me. Those were a gift from her heart and they are beautiful.

So long as they're not vampires or horror stories.

Actually, as I was back at school today, I signed some books out of the library to read. They've got a lot of new books in, so I'll enjoy reading my way through them. The librarian laughs at me for taking all the books out because only about 3 of the teachers actually take books out to read themselves. (And she's one of them!)

What? You don't like stories about glittery vampires?

[Durandal has written nothing of this nature, anyway.]

lol, I'm pretty sure if you somehow got stuck reading my material you'd lose a couple of IQ points - I'm actually pretty sure having people read anything I write, including forum posts, is one of the severest violations of the UN Charter of Human Rights or whatnot

All right, I'll wait.

2022 Christmas, PS5. I was actually there when my husband got it for me but wrapped it up anyway and pretended to be surprised on Christmas Day.
