What do you do when a guest stays too long?

Oh I hate when this happens.

First, I'll ask them politely to leave. If they refuse, I'll then tell them to get out or I'll call the police. In my state, you're officially trespassing when someone asks you to leave and you don't.

Depends on who it is.

I'm a very private, solitary person at home. If someone I don't feel comfortable staying with for a long period of time, I'll find ways to gently encourage them that it is time to go. If it's someone that I don't like, I'll come out and say it in plain terms that I would like them to leave.

I rarely have any guests over. I had a girlfriend ask me to leave very politely. She said in the most sweetest and flirtatious voice "I'm gonna have to kick you out now." and I politely obliged. It was a one night stand. I never saw her again.

This rarely happens to me since i almost never have any guests at all xD

I walk to the door thank them for their visit and tell them that it’s time for them to go.

Rarely happens, in fact, never happen. I say NO and end of story

It’s not something that bothers me, they can stay as long as they like.

Lol, this might sound rude but some people do what they think they should do at that time.

I'll tell him/her that I have other things to do. So let's talk next time.

My persona is not to tell them,. I might give some statements that can lead to being busy lately and the like.

I would subtly ask you if you are leaving anytime soon. You should get the clue from that. If you don't, I would start showing you attitude that would make you pack and leave by yourself.

This is quite devastating as l am incapacitated to tell them to get out of my house and they distract my programmes at the same time.
