Hahaha I had one just like that! My folks had a tiny ass tube tv in their room too.

Not sure what the model was but it was a big, bulky one like the one pictured above. Kind of crazy how those were normal back then and how far TVs have come since then.

I can't imagine a world without my lovely 4K 50' TV

Yeah, and the prices too. TV prices are coming down. There are so many new manufacturers (mostly china) but they put out decent4k TVs for a very good price.

28 years old and had TV from the 90s, he big and old and heavy :P

I had a tv from the 80's in my bed room growing up in the 90's and early 00's. I don't remember the brand it was though. In the living room we had a Emerson tv that was grey, we got it in the early 00's from Walmart. My parents had a walmart brand tv in their bedroom that had the letter D on front and a headphone jack but I can't remember the brand name for that one either.

I got a small box TV for Christmas when I was like 5-6 years old. It's exactly what I had asked for from Santa, and I was so happy! I used to complain because my brother had a TV in his room, but I didn't have one. :P

The most memorable experience for me is having the a black and white TV during my childhood years.

I remember growing up to see a black and white TV that needed a pole to get signal from TV stations. It was a really funny TV when you look back now.

Oh MAN that thing brings me back! We had a tv just like that too! Good ol crt monitor :D

When I was very, very young, the TVs we had were the kind where you had to get up to change the channels( built-in exercise:LOL: ) and sometimes give it a smack to get it working
Not that there were many channels to choose from anyway
Later on, we upgraded to a bigger TV with more channels and a remote......very futuristic for the time:evillaugh:

first TV I remember had a very small, almost round screen. it had tubes. if it acted up, Dad would haul out a box with odds and ends of tubes. he'd pull one and replace it. if that didn't fix the problem, he'd put back original tube and move on. it was B&W with no remote control.

we had 4 channels... ABC, CBS, NBC and public television. TV went off the air entirely every night... think at midnight.
