What anime have you guys watched before? What's your favorite and/or least favorite anime? How about manga?

Not an avid watcher of current anime, but like the older stuff for sure. I just dunno why I stopped watching.

Yep, 100%!!

Current favourite is Made in Abyss and it is just sublime!! Can't recommend it highly enough! Nanachi is now my all time favourite anime character, lol.

Of the older variety, I really like Magic Knight Rayearth, I know it didn't get much traction back then, but I really enjoy it!

Pretty much all I read is manga at this stage of my life (I've always been a bookworm, but I grew up on novels and slowly shifted as my life went on). I also watch anime. My favorite anime is definitely Natsume's Book of Friends!

Anime is totally hit or miss for me. I'd say nothing at the moment for either.

I watch anime and read manga! I’ve been watching MHA, it’s my favorite anime.

I just read some manga last week.

I read a series called "Creepy Cat" by Cotton Valent. It was my first ever manga and I enjoyed it.

I've read a bunch of manga a few years ago, back when I was unemployed. I read things like Immortal Hounds, Sailor Moon, MegaTokyo, Soul Eater, Ah My Goddess, and a bunch of others. I've already answered the anime piece of this question in another thread, but mostly, I'll watch Magical Girls, Romantic Comedy, and I have a soft spot for hilarious Gender Benders -- just strange and odd stuff really.

The only anime I've actively watched was Yu-Gi-Oh and that was only the first series.

I have one Yu-Gi-Oh manga eBook, but I could never really get into it.

Just recently finished reading the full Tokyo Ghoul manga series and Deadman Wonderland, now I am reading a collection of Junji Ito short stories. As for anime, I believe the last thing I watched was a re-watch of the Fullmetal Alchemist series earlier this year.

How was it? the anime show to me was really "normal". Not a single thing i could possibly tell that made me feel interested in Tokyo Ghoul.

I really liked the first season of Tokyo Ghoul. Like, I really, really liked the first season. The music. The production value. The concept itself. It was a horror tragedy at the heart of it. I thought it was brilliant.

Everyone seems to agree that the show went downhill from there. (I actually kind of like season two of the anime itself) Thing is though, what very few mention is that the manga itself goes completely off the rails as well. I read the whole thing, and honestly, after the first sixty-six chapters (of the 143 chapters), I found it to be an absolute mess and it was a chore to read.

Oh, i see your point, that happened to me with other titles like "ah! my goddess!" and more recently, with the famous quintuplet girls... gonna give it a try though!

Did you ever read manga?
I did, but it was expensive and terrible on e-readers. I believe the e-reader part has improved, but $5-15 for one issue that I can burn through in under 20 minutes is rough. Not to mention some series are ridiculously long.

My partner is always reading on iPad with some app. I guess its better nowadays.

iPads are the manga go-to as far as I know. Although without a second reason to own one, I don't really want a $500+ e-reader.
