AEW doesn't need yet another men's singles mid-card wrestling title. Tony Khan has debuted the AEW National Title to the pleasure of nobody. Everything thinks it's a pretty bad idea, but even worse, in the social media announcement, Tony Schiavone said there hasn't been a National Champion in nearly 40 years. The NWA begged to differ. Yes, WWE also has a bunch of nonsense belts that could be culled, but Tony Khan isn't learning from WWE or his own mistakes on this one
