I would only invest what you're willing to lose, and you have to be comfortable holding for an extended period of time. I don't believe cryptocurrency is going anywhere, but it's hard to predict how government regulations will impact it. Right now, our US government is embracing it, and our US president is gladly making a substantial amount of money off of it. Hard to say how the government will be about it down the road.
