How did you meet your best friend?

And how long is your friendship now?

Mostly from Online content, online gaming communities.

How did you meet your best friend?
I met him in the 3rd grade. Everyone warned me about him. Said he was a trouble maker. But we just hit it off really good. We had a lot in common. I didn't have that with any of the other kids there. We did have our ups and downs. Looking back now, we did argue a lot.

And how long is your friendship now?
It ended in 2006. I really thought I could trust him. Should have known better because of our history through grade school. He and my than girlfriend stabbed me in the back. They slept together. She was having an affair with him. They were both lying to me. Treating me like crap. Then she told me she was with him and told me we were done.

He and I argued. They accused me of a ton of stuff that I didn't do. She was making up any and every lie to turn him against me. She succeeded. So I ended my friendship with him.

In 2011 after I my daughter was a year old. About 5 years later after those events. He visited me and wanted to fix things. He wasn't with my ex anymore. They broke up sometime in 2007. He was with a different woman now. They'd just had a son together. I turned him down. I wasn't interested. I had moved on with my life. I had decided that my friendship with him had been pretty toxic and that we needed to continue going our separate ways.

We were babies. Our moms were friends and lived in the same building and met for a coffee from time to time. We were born seven months apart, but the day her mom came home from the hospital my mom visited hers to see the newborn, and, as I was told, we laid on a cover together and after 10 minutes I was hugging her and she fell asleep. Best friends for 28 years now.
