Fortunately I have one good vein, unfortunately it's getting scarred quite a bit from all of the pokes, so not sure where they go from there.

I'm a hard stick; usually they can get blood out of me with one stick but if my veins don't cooperate with them....oooo boy, multiple sticks! ...

I hate that!! Had a bad IV the last time I was admitted to hospital and they could not find a decent vein to save their lives. So many sticks, it was terrible!!

When I was voluntarily committed after my suicide attempt in Oct. 2021, they tried drawing a vein so they could get some blood; took them three sticks and a vein ultrasound to find one.

If they can't do it the first time they should just go to the vein ultrasound, it's cruelty to keep going and going!

At least you had the strength to get yourself help back then. I didn't for a long, long time.

My blood type is O positive. I was curious and got a at home blood type test a couple of years ago. My spouse's blood type is A- so we can't give blood to each other. :S Their father's blood type is O negative. xD
