In my younger days? Probably Carl Sagan. Astronomy is one of my favourite things and I admire scientific minds in general.
Today? To be honest, it's probably the VP-GM of my employer. I mean, she's one of those executives who's a force of nature when she blows into a room, but she began life as a clinician and worked her way up so she still carries that ethic of caring for our patients with her even in the big office. If I want to know if I am doing my job right, she's the barometer I use moreso than my actual boss (who is a great guy, just not a "hero" type).
