Your physical safety

Have you ever been genuinely afraid for your physical safety? If so, what happened?

When you spend most of your childhood getting ruthlessly beaten up by your parents for no apparent reason other than the fact you exist, you kinda can't help but be afraid for your physical safety.

I've been in a car wreck before. That made me concerned.

Not really. I'm generally cautious of wherever I go, but I wouldn't really say I'm afraid of my own physical safety. Just cautious.

I remember I had gone to a friend's graduation party. They had decided to drive somewhere I think to borrow some movies. I got to sit in the back in the middle of all of em smoking. I have no issues with people smoking, but I also don't care to have no choice but to breathe it. It just was an annoyance. They had driven to some not great part of town it looked like. Then their lovely car broke down. Eventually we got back to her house and I got the heck out of there.
