What are your plans for Thanksgiving this year?

We are going to do Thanksgiving Breakfast this year. None of us really care for turkey but we all love breakfast.

Excited about it!

I love a big family breakfast get together
That's a good idea, a nice big breakfast!

@tonychu is going to have his family over to our house and cook them all a delicious meal!

He pre-ordered the pies yesterday, from a place that makes the best pies.
I don't get my SNAP/EBT till Monday and I am in charge of pie for some reason. My ass will be lazy and buy the premade pies from Walmart or Kroger lmfao

Ah, sweet! I know that it's a bit of a meme but breakfast on Thanksgiving typically does not happen at all. We wait all day till the food is done to eat! I am a big breakfast person too and would love to go to your place. :D

I think this year my family is going to have a big Thanksgiving dinner out to my aunt's place...they do a deep fried turkey every year and invite all the family that wants to come out.

Dinner for 5 and a non-traditional Thanksgiving dinner this year. We are going to make an Italian dinner, though we will have homemade pies. This will be our first Thanksgiving without a turkey. We will have a turkey this Christmas, which will also be a switch for us. Shaking up tradition and embracing something new. Need less time in the kitchen and more time with family, the new goal.

Wal-mart pies aren't that great.

Nice, how many people you think are going to be there?

Sounds good to me. Its all about having a day off to relax and eating a nice dinner with the family, doesn't matter what the cuisine is. :grouphug:

Pumpkin pies I meant. I also know my uncle may make 1-2 pies, but I'm buying 1-2 for us anyway. But no way do I wanna go inside to do the shopping! I can use my moms Walmart+ benefits and have that shit delivered to our house! May as well take advantage of that.

15-20 people max
Hopefully you're not sick anymore by then. You don't want to give all those people your germs.

I thought about walmart+ but I have a walmart very close to the house so its easy for me to just pop over there grab something real quick. I have the whole layout of the store memorized so I can walk directly to what I need and get out in a couple minutes. :P

We started doing Christmas breakfast a few years ago, too. I'd rather eat a big breakfast than a dry turkey.

That way, we eat and go do something outside somewhere while everyone is waiting to eat their holiday dinner.

Of course, we have pies and cakes for later lol

So what are you going to do this year if anything?
Go out to a Thanksgiving buffet at a local restaurant, then veg out and watch gridiron football. 🦃 :football:
