Around 10%-12% of the population is left-handed. That includes celebrities, of course: actors, musicians, sports stars, tech experts, and more. And while the world may be designed for right-handed people, the left-handed people in this article certainly are overachievers.

Interesting, Webster. I never knew Paul McCartney was not a true leftie nor that the great David Bowie was left handed.

Trivia on Nicole Kidman - She shares a birthday with the late musician Alan Longmuir, founder member of the Bay City Rollers who was also a leftie.

I have a left handed friend who plays guitar with his right as he finds it easier and I had a left handed aunt who used scissors and potato peelers with her right.

I am right handed in everything except sport. I throw balls with my left, shoot pistol with my left, throw darts with my left and wield tennis racquets with my left.

I'm famous on here and I'm left handed..the funny thing is no one else in my family is left handed.
