    Mass emails

    I send bulk mail to all members, about important things such as major updates and competitions. Sending bulk mail just to chance your luck on getting inactive members back is a bit silly, in my opinion. I've done it before, and not a single member that hasn't been online for six months or more...

    I still use Firefox 3.5 and I'll be gutted when this happens, and I really don't want to upgrade to the new version of Firefox. Guess I'll have to get myself Opera instead to surf the web... oh well.

    Ads!

    Ads are annoying on forums but the admin of it has to pay for them to be removed. However, you can use AdBlock Plus or a similar plug-in that gets rid of these ugly-looking things when browsing a forum, let alone browsing a website

    Going for a walk

    I've taken walks many times, just to get fresh air and sometimes help clear my mind from stress. When I had a stressing day at my training course, I would take a 40 minute walk from there to my home (as it's near where I live)

    Didn't know it's possible for an Admin to read other people's PMs, but I know reading their emails can be done. You shouldn't be really doing that... it defeats the purpose of it being a private message.

    Similar Threads

    If I see a thread that's similar to an existing one, I'd merge it. If someone creates a thread that is of a similar subject to one created that's been without posts for almost a year (and no point bumping it), I can let it stay there.
