    Well, I've been foruming long enough to the point where I know to read the rules. So now, especially since I've been foruming for so long, I get thrown off when people tell me to read the rules almost the second after I create an intro topic.

    I'm personally against swearing, and I do find some words offensive, depending on how I interpret them to be read out (especially with the case of forums) but I do swear when I'm by myself though I never swear in front of anyone.

    Agreed. Members should be able to read the rules when they want to. We only point members to the rules on our forum if it's a minor rule infraction that only calls for a warning, but we never say, have fun and remember to read the rules!
