Absolutely not! Kids should only get a trophy when they earn one. Giving a trophy or ribbon to every kid isnt setting them up for adulthood and the real world. That’s not how life works.

I'm of two minds here.

On the one hand, I agree with Nebulous on the earned bit.
On the other hand, for most kids, just working up the courage to go out into the arena is its' own award.

Yes, teach them to be selfish sociopaths who will hoard all the money to themselves when they become rich and successful. That's exactly what this world needs - more greedy humans who will dedicate their lives to stomping over everyone else on their way to victory and further deepen the social gap. Bravo!
