But--It's a world of opposites.
At first I was like YES!! Then it was like OMG! what am I going to do with a baby?
With the boys, I thought I was going to die--very sick. And just because it's called morning sickness--doesn't mean it just hits in the morning.
My daughter--I got sick a couple times, and it was over. Never felt better.
Most of the time a pregnant woman is an emotional train wreck--EVERYTHING makes her cry. Almost like a manic/depressive off their meds (I hope no one takes offense at that analogy)
You want to sleep 24/7--or you wake up at 2 am and want to wax all the floors in the house. My husband got to where he'd just shake his head and let me do whatever I wanted (as long as he didn't think I'd get hurt)
The smell of food makes you sick, then you can't get enough of eat. (it was hell trying to find a KFC open at 3 am LOL)
When it's all over, you don't know whether to be relieved or terrified. lol. Most of the time, it's worth it though.

@Nebulous - I reckon girls are more emotional because we have a lot of trouble hiding our feelings. I KNOW YOU GUYS FEEL TOO. You're just conditioned to conceal it because it's a sign of weakness. Also, we have more to cry about.Debatable.![]()

Should I cry more so people think I'm stronger? not really. Wouldn't sucking it up and moving on be a sign of strength, and not weakness? Makes more sense to me.
It's like when people tell their kids, it's okay to be afraid, but really it is not okay to be afraid. Your afraid, your weak. Your sad, your weak. Not any of this hide your emotions your weak nonsense, we don't hide them we just don't care, I can't speak for everyone but most.

Yeah.. He should have worded it: Whats the best part of being a parent?
Having the child, as in: creating the baby, carrying it for 9 months and then delivering it...... The second two parts probably arent much fun.![]()
