Do you care if people backseat moderate your forum or do it on forums you visit?

Tell others what to do and what not to do (acting as if they were staff).

On my forum (which I am actually taking a break from) I never allowed members to backseat moderate. When I do go back, I'll still enforce that rule. The only way you can tell members what to do on a forum is if you are on staff.

I hate it. On my past forum, I strongly discouraged it. I moderate a forum now that actually kind of likes it though.. D:

I don't want people going around looking for broken rules, but if someone just reminds another member about a rule that they've broken I certainly don't mind that.

That one member should use the report button.

Speaking of the report button, ya'll should change it to something that says Report on it.

Suggestions go in the Suggestions and Feedback forum

I'm really relaxed on my forum. There isnt that much to do in the way of moderating anyway. We have no spam, posts and threads are usually in the correct areas, so my mods don't have that much to do

One of my mods is extremely active, the other not as much.
