There's a popular site where you could make your own avatar where the rules and such feel like an early to mid 00s site/forum. I've found way less forums adding much rules if any besides the obvious ones.

I had 2 I regretfully hired. One who I ban and fire for spewing racist crap 2 years ago and the other who removed herself last October just because I was just doing my job telling her not to double post with her pathetic audio clips of her singing. I made sure and aware that she's forbidden to post there again, because me or my members have no time for that. At my forum, I look for staff who are respectful and nothing else.

Neb, I don't tolerate anyone or anybody bossing me or my staff around. That's why I impose that rule so none of that will happen again in the future. ....because she took time out of her day to contribute to your forum? Of course you don't have to reply to anything you don't want to, but I thought her singing clips were interesting and it was pretty brave of her to post those in the first place.
Part of the reason I like being on forums is because we're exposed to so many different types of unique people.
Let me ask you a question and be honest about it. How would you feel if Naiwen boss you around and tell you how to run Off Topix?
I'd look at it as feedback rather than being "bossed around." I'd thank her for sharing her opinions, let her know that the staff would discuss them and get back to her.
Also any member here is welcome to create a public feedback thread where they can basically "boss around and tell us how to run this forum." We welcome everyone's opinions, if the requests are reasonable and if the members/staff agree with them, we can make accommodations if necessary. We've done it before.
Since she want nothing to do with me, be grateful that I blocked her. And I'm also grateful that other forums want nothing to do with her. Time to move on.

I don't blame you. Staffing on some forums is a complete waste of time. Especially the one you're referencing. What's the point in being on staff when you lack the permissions to moderate anyway?
