Well, parts of the plane (along with corpses) were apparently found in the ocean, so it doesn't seem like it was the same MO as the other plane.
Regarding the blog post, it is probably just a coincidence. AirAsia is one of the largest (and apparently the most cost-effective airline) in Asia, so picking that name out as being the next target would be easy enough.
And, like Doc said. A blog post isn't exactly the most compelling evidence.
