How goes it?

:hello: Nicholas!

Nice to see you!

How are you doing?

I'm tired. Nothing much else, have work tomorrow, but other-wise, I'm alright.

Congrats on finding that job! I remember you saying you were looking for one.

Yeah, it'll be my second month working there next week. I work in the Deli at Wal-Mart. Sucks. But it pays.

Its something. Any work experience is good work experience. ...I'd rather work in the deli than be in the back unloading trucks.

We've lived different lives in that regard, mate. I am completely fine with manual labor, but I hate talking or socializing with folk. Which makes the deli kind-of tougher for me than it should be. It hasn't gotten easier, and I'll be looking for a transfer to stocking after I've been there ninety days though. The plan is to keep the job until September, look at where I'm at with my books and websites, and decide whether or not I am financially secure enough to focus my attention on them and college-work.

A man with a plan! :)

I wish it was easier to advertise my websites, but besides doing what I do online with social-networks, the only other way is really paid-advertising, which doesn't work too much. I do know that with paid-hosting with GoDaddy, there is around $700 worth of advertisement coupons that come with it, but I don't know how much that works. Off Topix hosts with GoDaddy, right?

If only we could create websites and make our target audiences all know about it instantly.

Anyway we're hosted on hawk host, there's a link in the footer.

Oh, have you ever dabbled into paid-advertising? I know that GoDaddy offers $100 coupons for Facebook, Twitter, Yahoo, Bing, and a couple other companies, but I haven't ever really tried it. They offer it once a year, so it'd be sort-of cool, I just don't know how much it works.

Nah. I'm afraid it would be too effective. :P
I'm not interested in having a super huge community that would require expensive dedicated severs, plus everyone would feel lost in the crowd. A medium sized forum is better I think. :|

Right. But I'll be having a two news websites, a writing website, and a social-networking forum. The forum can be small or medium-sized, but I was hoping that I could write for a living, so having the news websites and the writing site be really popular would be great. I don't ever want to be a 'huge' writer though, I just want to live life comfortably, do my work, and have people leave me alone. I think that will be hard but I think it's feasible.

Hope it all works out. Do you have a back up plan in case writing doesn't work out?

There's an old dusty rope in my garage... either that, or I'll have an Associate's Degree, and if after two years nothing has come from my writing, I'll head to college for my Bachelor's. But I have my heart set on writing working out. :p

Best to have options. What are you getting degree's in?

The Associate's Degree is just general-stuff, not really anything that can't be applied to whatever I decide to do. Other-wise, the initial thought was for either Marketing or Psychology. Although, recently, none of those have seemed very appealing to me. I never really credited anything else besides my writing as having any 'worth,' like it's the one contribution I can make to mankind and really be proud of. I don't know what happens if I'm not a writer. *shrugs*

I'm worthless and contribute nothing to mankind and I'm okay with it. :P

But yeah if you have enough determination, anything is possible! :!:

*deadpans* ...tell us something we don't know, O' mighty admin! :P
*raises hand in mock surrender* Just kidding, my friend, just kidding....how's it going? :)

In light news, I finished Slender: The Arrival on the PlayStation 3, and I honestly hated it. I expected to like it so much, but everything about it was just mediocre or through the motions.

Never heard of it, sorry it didn't live up to your expectations though. On to the next one?
