I applaud caregivers such as you and my mom! We caregivees can be a handful!

I'm just watching a show.
I'm sure you're an absolute dream compared to her, hon. My mother is...a chore! But if you ever need another caregiver, I've got your back! :D

Very similar situation with my Mom when she was with us; she, too, was physically very strong and able, just not "all there". Sometimes if things weren't so worrisome and ridiculous they would have been funny. She did so many "funny"/not things.
Hopefully in years to come you will be able to look back and just laugh & shake your head at things like this. :)
Yeah, she's quite physically capable, she's been physically abusive a few times towards me, verbally as well, but that's normal. I've had some bad bruises from her! Worth it, though, she's my mother.

Good morning and happy Friday!
Happy Saturday!!!
Good evening, Nebulous.
Hello! How are you?
Wuzz up?

Evening, everyone; how's it going this evening?
All good in the hood!

I am good, how are you?
I just finished cleaning my living room. I fed my mother pasta and because of the dementia she doesn't really understand what to do when she's full, so she started shoving pasta down the sides of the couch cushions and then abandoned the bowl and walked away...had the clean the couch, so...cleaned the living room, lol.

How about yourself?
Oh no! I hope it was easy to clean up

Do you shove pasta in your furniture? :p

Gas price here today: $5:09

Thats a dollar cheaper than here!

Not really, sometimes it seems like it...but I'm getting old and tired. Usually just mandatory medical-type appointments and grocery shopping. Grocery shopping usually one day every two weeks or so.
This week, though, I took the dog to the "spa" for a long-overdue bath, brush out & nail trim.

Did your dog like the groomers? I know some dogs hate it!

I'm alright, surviving :)

It was...not ideal to clean up, that's for sure.

You're not living unless you're shoving pasta in the furniture!

I guess I am not living then :P

.....plus all my furniture is less than 2 years old, I don't want pasta in it. :P

I'm certainly not, either, lol, but maybe that's the ticket to a happy life? Just shove pasta down the couch cushions and walk away.

 Its all fun and games until that food starts to rot and your couch is all moldy. :P

Need to find your local Italian place and raid the cushions! Free lunch!

Later this month I am going to the oldest Italian Restaurant in the country, Fior d'Italia in San Francisco. Usually a go to spot whenever I am in SF. The food is amazing, classy atmosphere and cool waiters with italian accents.

Oh yeah there is this piano player in the evenings who plays any song you request. There's pamphlet on the table with a list of several hundred songs, you text him your request and he plays it.

The upper levels of the building is a hotel, maybe we'll stay the night there one of these days.

Here's their menu: https://www.fior.com/dinner

 You'd be genuinely surprised at some of the things 'these' people will think of....totally "out of the box" stuff.:LOL: My Mom never pulled that particular one though.

Went to a place new to Trapper; lots of traffic, lots of other dogs, busy, busy, she was totally "out of her element" and a complete nervous wreck which is so unlike her. But when I went back to pick her up she was all calmed down & happy & looked clean & beautiful.

Wow, looks incredible! I'll bet they have all kinds of pasta shoved down their furniture! ;)

Nah, honestly, it looks absolutely amazing, I hope you have a great time! Have to get the pianist to play something embarrassing, spice girls or something :D
