Good afternoon all.
Good afternoon. How's it going everyone?
Good skill to have!Ugh. CPR recertification classes. So much fun.
I'm doing good. Just been chilling out.
Nice!
I just had a hangnail on my thumb, ripped it out because it was bothering me and now my thumb is bleeding (and hurts). Fun stuff.
If you're lucky, maybe part of your thumb won't get infected or swell up to where you have to squeeze out the puss.
Happened to me last month. It kept swelling and throbbing. So I had to drain it several times. It made me very uncomfortable.I've had that happen a few times. No bueno.

Fortunately my dad was off work today, so he covered for me.
What was your mom doing during that?
Very much so!Good skill to have!
Mine usually go away when I drain them the first time. That sucks it kept coming back.![]()
That’s good!lol it finally stopped after a few days. I told myself that if it didn't improve by next week I would go to a clinic and see if they could give me anything for it. It finally cleared up after a few days.
That’s good!
Happy Taco Tuesday peeps!

It is insanity the prices the medical industry charges, it's why the US really needs universal healthcare, but that's a debate for another time. I will say, as someone else with chronic sleep apnea, a CPAP is an amazing device!I really really avoid clinics and hospitals if I can. The reason behind that is they're fucking way over priced. I don't want to go see the doctor over the flu and then get hit with a 400 dollar bill that I can barely afford. Fuck that. It has to be life or death. I recently went to see a specialist and was diagnosed with severe sleep apnia. The sleep study alone is over 6 thousand dollars. This is exactly why I don't like seeing anyone.

Absolutely agreed, there needs to be a massive change to healthcare overall. Most other countries manage it just fine, time for the US to catch upSomething needed to be done yesterday about it. It's pretty bad when over a 100 million Americans have medical debt that they can't pay. It's a dumb system that needs to be discarded.
