Yeah, I suppose it doesn't help that we tried it with conservative americans in Texas. Ya' know, whole ordeal with the giving thanks and the standing around the table until the turkey arrives...fuck that.

I never did any of that. I always thought on that day you just thought about what you're thankful for without telling anyone.

I was in Texas for Easter and went to a gathering. They made us all hold hands and bow our heads so someone could say a blessing (prayer). I thought that was kind of odd. Oh well, it was over in a few seconds. The food was good.
