I could bring my daughter too. We all miss going swimming. I don't know anyone with a pool anymore and the gym has a heated indoor pool so I could go swimming in December or January even.

That law is for people who have dogs who are a menace to society. Mine was not that. If my next dog(s) are like that then I will keep them leashed up 100% in public.

Do you have illegal breeds in your state like some breeds are illegal in the UK? How effective do you reckon this would be… given that I read an article about a dog of an illegal breed being very well behaved (of course this is the exception rather than the rule, but note the dog was well trained) ?

Perhaps it’s a lack of understanding from us humans as to how dogs of certain breeds should be trained?

Oh yeah, I was thinking of joining a local gym. Not the cheap $10 a month one. The nicer one that has heated indoor swimming pools, hot tub, steam room and sauna (all the stuff the $10 a month gym doesn't have). I used to belong to that gym years ago and I loved going swimming and doing the steam room. Feels so good. I wonder if they'll have any black friday deals for joining.

The problem when it comes to swimming pools is… too cold and I get tired trying to float. Too hot and I get tired from the heat. Ugh! Maybe I’m just not very fit?

There are a few different restricted dog breeds in California, including:

• American Staffordshire Terriers
• American Pit Bull Terriers
• Staffordshire Bull Terriers

Just because a breed is on the list doesn’t mean that people in the area can’t own it. If over four months old, they must be licensed and spayed or neutered.
