I'm watching the promo master of 2024, Joe Hendry's matches on NXT and TNA this past week. Good to see how over he is, so well deserved.

We could be watching Glock Anderson promos, babe....

Specifically, on the September 29, 2021 episode of Dynamite, Arn, as the coach of the Nightmare Family, got in the ring and interrupted a post-match interview following a victory for his charges Cody Rhodes and Lee Johnson, cutting a Get a Hold of Yourself, Man! / Dare to Be Badass speech aimed squarely at Cody's shortcomings and the dismal state of the Nightmare Family at the hands of Malakai Black.

Arn's reputation as an O.G. had already been credible enough to feed the believability of the segment, but then he contrasted his and Cody's approaches to a hypothetical carjacking scenario. "You pull up to a red light, a man jerks your door open, says 'Outta the car, I'm takin' your car!' You say, 'Okay, take it. Just don't hurt me!' You know what I do? I pull out the Glock, put it on his forehead, and spill his brains all over the concrete!" As this is 2021, not 1996, cutting an "I'm ready to kill you if you mess with me" promo is far more likely to turn heads in one way or another. Cue instant memes.
