Ian McKellen is the best thing to ever happen to those movies. Without him in Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit the films would be crap. Oh, him and Christopher Lee. Huge fan of Ian Holm too but he didn't have a big enough role in the films/story.
I really do like Ian McKellen, but I don't know if I think he was the best part of the Lord of the Rings or The Hobbit series. I think he's the best thing of the X-Men series as Magneto though! I think it depends on what film you are looking at. I feel like the best part of The Two Towers was Smeagle. As for The Hobbit franchise as a whole, in the second film, I liked Benedict Cumberbatch as Smaug, and in the whole series, I liked Martin Freeman as Bilbo Baggins.

Best thing in the X-Men is *Cough* Patrick Stewart......

I did like Brad Dourif as Grima Wormtongue in Lord of the Rings. John Rhys Davis was another great actor.

Most of the cast was great for both series that Peter did. But some of the cast was utter crap like Sean Astin....

The member interviews is a way for people to get to know each other better =)

I think the dynamic between Magneto and Xavier is the best of the franchise, but I liked Ian as Magneto more than Patrick Stewart as Xavier. He didn't do bad or anything, and some of it is because I like Magneto's character so much. I think he is one of the best characters in the superhero genre. For Brad Dourif, I like him when he's playing a talking killer doll, but he didn't leave too much of an impression on me elsewhere. I think my preference flips in the 'New' trilogy, because the new Charles Xavier was absolutely amazing.

Patrick will forever be known more for Star Trek than X-Men.

That's good!

I watched a rerun of The Graham Norton Show with Ian M. on as 1 of the guests.

I think one direction, needs to take a new direction and GTFO the media.

They'll end up like the rest of child musicians.

Drug addicted, attention seeking, sad little people...

Justin Bieber is usually only on the media these days for getting arrested lol

For him yeah. People pay more attention to that than helping people who are wanting to commit suicide.
This world is terrible.

Maybe both of them can go take a flying leap off the nearest cliff...it might improve the world of music, but who knows...
