I wouldn’t go that extreme lol, but I would like to see murders getting life sentences.

I’ve seen a few now over the past couples years where murders have got 10 years and are getting out in 7 on licence.

I don't know where I stand on this. In typical American fashion, I want there to be revenge for the crime. At the same time, seeking revenge doesn't make us any better than the offender. However, sentencing them to spend the rest of their life locked up is taking resources that really aren't needed. If you're going to spend the rest of your life in prison and die there any way, why not be killed by the state instead? The end goal is achieved any way.

Then you also have the unfortunate situations where innocent people end up on death row.
