Death penalty

Certain crimes deserve the death penalty, such as child rape. It also serves as a deterrent to people considering committing those crimes. Clearly a prison sentence isn’t deterring enough.

Life in prison. I believe in protection from society rather than retribution.

I always believed Capital Punishment was a gift from the State to the victim's families saying we killed that asshole who murdered your loved one. Kind of like giving someone who was wronged some peace of mind.

True, I also think prisoners should be obliged to pay living costs rather than punishing us as taxpayers.

For the wrongly imprisoned, there’s a whole thing kicking off now about how unfair it is that from the compensation given, living expenses are deducted.

Essentially the innocent convicts pay their living expenses whereas the guilty don’t.

Always punish the innocent!
