Do you like living alone?

There are some people who dread living alone because of one reason or another. For some, the fear of being lonely all the time is something that they can't deal with which is why they will always like to have people's company.

What's your take on living alone?

Echoing this. As an introvert who finds it difficult and exhausting to be around people 24/7, it's really, really nice to come home to silence and no one else but my cats to worry about. I can do whatever I want, go to bed when I want, listen to my music, watch movies, play video games and not have to worry about when it's dinner time or bothering someone else (aside from the fact that I live in an apartment; you know, so just basic politeness).

What's your take on living alone?

As long as you got room to talk to the voices in your head, its' good....

I would only recommend it for people with social issues.

Here's my timeline of living with people:
- Living with my dad, mom and brother
-Living with grandparents, mom and brother (mom and dad split up)
-Living with mom and brother (got our own place)
-Living with just my mom (brother moved back in with grandparents)
-Living with a girlfriend (got our own place)
-Living with girlfriend and daughter (she was born a year later)
-Living alone but had my daughter on the weekends (after me and her mom broke up)
-Living with boyfriend and had my daughter on the weekends
-Living with boyfriend and daughter full time

...so yeah there was a period when I did live alone (5 days a week). I did that for about 5 years (give or take). I enjoyed that time but its better to have people around. Even when I did live alone I always had pets.

I lived alone for 4 years during and after high school. For one, my family has a lot of rental property. I didn't get along with my mom so they put up at a rental house joint owned by them and my grandparents my junior year in high school where I lived alone for a while. Did I enjoy it? Yes for the reason I didn't have to worry about getting my ass chewed over something every evening I got home.

I own this house and I still get chewed out over not doing the dishes or taking out the trash or whatever.

I am sure you could live alone if you had to. Its not impossible.

It's magnificent! I spent years living with my parents who wouldn't let me leave home and live my own life so you bet I like it! I've never wanted marriage and am the ultimate loner so it suits me fine. La soltera para siempre.

For now yes, but I have to admit that I still very much enjoy the company of my family. In 2020-2021 I was living alone because I was studying abroad, in addition I was depressed because of a toxic relationship that I've had. It was a complete hell. I never want to experience that ever again.
