Let's keep it civil, guys. Common decency needs to be shown especially when addressing something someone else has written within the debate. That means no name calling or aggressive behavior.

It is worth mentioning that people always need to try and put themselves in other people's shoes. Even though I greatly dislike most aspects of the current anti police movement and find solutions they offer extremely lacking and likely harmful as whole. I also understand that mistakes by police and the handful of bad actors in the group account for horrific tragedies that simply cannot be ignored or forgotten. So it is key to try and be meaningful and factual with responses as personal feelings can be absolutely massive in these types of debates.

Perfect example of another reason i don't trust the police in my town: i was in a bad accident a few days ago. I've got a fracture in my back. The officer on scene has yet to submit anything which is holding up my care because insurance is waiting for the report. My son and i were hit hard from behind on the highway by an idiot driver speeding with bald tyres. That man should be charged for at least two violations but we have no idea if he was because said cop hasn't handed in any documentation yet. Meanwhile my back has a very painful break requiring medical care that i have yet to receive properly from the medical system here in shitty Canada.
