Favorite Pokemon Gerneration

What is your favorite generation of Pokemon games? From the old and classic Pokemon red to the newly released Pokemon X & Y. My favorite generation is generation three.

Its hard to say which would be a favorite. Though the main thing I loved about the first generation was the special cheat code you could do. And yes, they can be fun. Though I would love if they changed it up some from the standard.

I'd say the older ones, but I haven't actually played any Pokemon games for a few years so I don't know how good the new ones are.

Second gen. Mostly because I got two regions for the price of one.
If they did a remake of Crystal, I guess that'd be my favourite.

Well, like how Fire Red and Leaf Green are remakes of Red and Blue and how Heart Gold and Soul Silver are remakes of Gold and Silver.

For me it looks like a pokemon game is just like the other pokemon games..

In a way they are all alike, but they're not all the same.

Gen 1: 151 pokémon, no genders, no abilities, no natures, no steel type, no weather, no day-night cycle.
Gen 2: 252 pokémon, no abilities, no natures, no weather.
Gen3: No day-night cycle.
Etc.
The premise remains the same, but the details change.

Generation 1: Nostalgic back in the 90s, but there are limited recognition of the first 151 Pokémon. Still remember the names of almost all of them.

I like the new one, but my favourite was the generation Rayquaza was introduced. Can't remember when. I think it was Ruby.
