Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters coming to Switch and PS4?

It was recently reported that there was an addition to the ratings for the Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters which added in Switch and PS4. These have since been removed but that hasn't stopped speculation from mounting that we could finally be getting a console release. Are there any intentions of people here to purchase them if they do get rereleased? Also what are your thoughts on the continued rereleases of retro games on newer platforms? I am personally hoping for a physical release and will most likely get them on PS4 so I can go for the platinum trophies. Not looking forward to the RNG dependent trophies though.

Yeah, I can definitely see the appeal in playing them on the Switch. Especially in handheld mode. That visual style is so well suited for that.

I'm probably going to get this for the PS4 and play it on my PS5. I own all the classic Final Fantasy games besides 3 in some form however. I have Origins, Chronicles, Anthology, and a copy of Mystic Quest. (Which I highly doubt Mystic Quest is on the collection.)
