No, I think he did it because the admins came to an agreement to sell the forum.
Well ads arent that bad, as long as they are done right. If they have that full page ad where you have to click Skip this ad up at the top just to see what you wanted to look at, then im gone.

Wow, I'm currently promoting Marie 1988 there, as that was the biggest promotion forum next to FA. This is gonna be interesting. Thankfully, if the forum does get messed up in any way, or if it gets closed for whatever reason, there are other means of promotion.
Edit: That's why MHW resigned as administrator of FP. He said something about doing offline projects... but that thread mentioned something about Online projects... perhaps he's building an actual Website instead of a forum? This could be interesting.

Wow, people are already being rude to one another on FP. Someone requested advice on how they could improve their forum, and all they got for a response was, go and request a review! That's what that section is there for! Whether this fergal guy is the kind of administrator who bans people for inactivity, I don't know, and I ain't sticking around to find out. I just logged out of there and I'm not going back there again in a hurry.

Welcoming of the new admin with open arms.

Outraged that the admins bailed on the community they made just to make a few bucks.

Not care because they are only there to promote their forums.
