Ghost hunting.

You have a point here to some degree but we talking about something you have the ability to experiencing or not experience. So why chase after something that you unable to catch as I said if you able you won't need to chase after it it will be right there for you to see.

I did a photo shoot years about at a wedding and each time I came in close proximity to the bride I would have a strong feeling of peace, love and happiness that I could not quite peg at that point in time. When viewing the photos each photo I took of her when I had this feeling had an orb in it. I only learned after this that her grandmother that she was very close to passed on that same week. Apparently they were very close all through her life.

Understood but as I said earlier most my experiences up until doing this were negatively based. In balance, there are both. I've learned more about abilities, ghosts and spirits since doing this. Which have being positives, which helped with balance. Instead of being bound, I made a choice to explore a little beyond my comfort zones. We all have our comfort zones right? How often do we as individuals step out of them? Believe it or not I'm exploring history as well. How many people visit museums for art or how many people visit castles, stately homes. It's part of our heritage. I just do it in a different way.

Like you attending an event with no knowledge to the history to take photographs. You felt in a different environment. A positive feeling, found out why. Seen things that showed this after.

I see ghost hunting the same. You are going with no expectations, although part of you hopes.

Well it is what you get out of it and what your expectation are I suppose like most things in life. I however never felt the need to explore it in this way as for me it is what it is. Much like someone exploring why they breath you have always done it so that is the way it is, the same goes for me it has always been this way and I just accept it as normal like breathing. I think that is the best way I can explain it from my point of view I suppose.

I understand that Dirt. For me that isn't enough. Rarely though in life do.I see things for what it is but seek more answers. Sure sometimes there are not any and if and when I reach that point I would stop.

At one time people used to wonder why we breathe. It was answered by science. Science to me hasn't answered this.

I would rather do this than spend a night out on the town though.

At some time you need to stop searching for an answer and accept things as they are, as searching for something that has no predefined lines can cause confusion and at the worst depression. I came to terms with mine and accepted it for what it was as even I cannot explain how or why I see and feel what I do at times.

Sceptics can ridicule you for what you yourself cannot fully explain , it can also invoke fear in some. The main thing each person needs to do what it takes to come to terms with what they have.

I think, therefore I am. It is not in my character to just accept or at least till I am ready too.

People daily make judgements about others, sometimes they base it on their experiences, their knowledge or down to even something they have read. Not often do I come across people who want to ask why? What do you think? What if and why?

But most judgements are not based on getting to know that person. Sure some people will think she's crazy and it's their right to do so. It just leads me to did you get to know me?

Heck people ridicule others for far less than this.

@DrLeftover

This online discussion board sure doesn't seem to be too used to people actually conversing back-and-forth much. It MUST come as a shock to several of the regulars.

I love it....isn't this what these forums are supposed to be all about?? Exchange of ideas, conversing back and forth!!

:bigdance: That's what I hoped I'd find here :bighmm:

I thought I'd upload a couple of pictures of the last place.

I'm waiting also for an image to be uploaded to facebook. As I went to investigate to little lights on top of each other. To rule out other group members. There was nobody there. But a gentleman that was behind me caught a image on camera. It certainly wasn't there in my visual eyesight. But he got it on a picture. As I walked away something was thrown at me. Everyone heard it.

Lots of things happened on the event. It's Weir Mill at Stockport. Tables tipped. EMF meters were going off. Found out a little history, sadly it cannot be supported due to a fire. The records were all burned.

Loud bangs could be heard, people felt dizzy. There was me and another member that could smell horse stables. Nobody else could. I had my jacket pulled. One wanted to kiss me. Heard by loads and another well lol something's you should not say to a woman. Another member had their hair pulled. Tables spun if you sang nursery rhymes and rocked.

All of mrlds shitting of her pants is cracking me the hell up!

I don't have to go far to hunt ghosts. Home sweet home is where it's at. Even with all my kids I sometimes have to leave all the lights on downstairs and sometimes the kitchen light upstairs too. When the kids are not home, it's not good. Sometimes I've even had to sleep with my bedroom light on. I'm so not trying to shit my pants. Most times it's ok and normal but sometimes I get creeped out and I have had many many ghostly encounters here at my home where I've lived my whole life. 50 years. Mostly.

What kind of things have you experienced Callie?

Thank you.

I'll answer anything I can with as little drama and over the top language as possible.

Well I'm not after drama. Just your experiences and conclusions. I'm also happy to do this via private message should anyone prefer it that way ;)

Ok now I can share some of my real ghost stories. I have a lot of them. I'll share the most recent one.

Christmas time we had just moved upstairs and I was preparing dinner fixins late at night while the children slept, 1am. While I was slicing potatoes for homemade scalloped potatoes, I heard a voice from the window/table I was working on clearly call my name. I immediately was scared to death and thought about dogs. When you're scared of a dog you don't show you're scared because they can sense it. So I was wondering how I was going to not feel scared because I knew this thing would be able to detect my feelings. I felt like I had only one option and that was to confront it directly. So I said outloud to it. "I heard you call my name. What do you want. Are you from god? Are you here to give me a message from god? What do you want from me? What does god want from me? What do you want to tell me from god?" And the whole time I could sense the presence of a man with an old fashioned suit and top hat on standing behind me looking over my shoulder looking at me. When I confronted him he did not answer me but smiled and turned away and disappeared and I have not encountered any entities since. Thankfully.
But I have many many many ghost stories. Lol

Interesting how your communicating directly with the spirit, which, incidentally would NOT have a "message from God", induced it to leave.

Most likely, recognition was what it was after.
I thought the reference to god was too much for it to handle. I also wondered for a long time if there was some missed message.....
