Have you ever been involved in car accident?

I haven't been involved in a serious car accidents but have had some close cases. I've been driving twice and my car's brakes failed. I found out and was able to control the car to a stop as the brakes didn't fail 100%. Mother luck was on my side the day that happened and I was lucky not to be over speeding.

I've been in two accidents. One was when a school bus backed into our car but we weren't hurt because it was going slow. My mom was honking at it to stop but the driver didn't even look.

The other was that a car didn't have its headlights on and my sister was turning right from a side street and they both hit each other. My sister's arm went into my ribs and to this day it hurts sometimes. The cars were both totaled.

My dad was driving my 93 Suburban because I was under the weather and had to get to an appointment, so I asked him to drive. He got distracted yelling at someone who wasn't paying attention when, while not paying attention, he rear-ended the car in front. Ruined the front end of my car, the rear and front end of the car in front, and the rear end of the car in front of that. I damaged my shoulder and neck in the accident, took a long time to recover from.

I was in one maybe 30 years back and was rear-ended while sitting at a red light; nobody was hurt.

I've only had one wreck. It was a scary experience. I really try to be careful and watch what I'm doing.
