I hate being on a long journey especially when I have to travel by bus. Bus are normally slow and when the journey is long, I can't help myself not sleeping off after sitting for hours. Some people don't sleep in any means of transportation they use as long as it's a days journey.

Do you sleep on long journey?

The upside to that is that you aren't the one doing the driving. You can just relax while the bus driver does all the work. When I travel by road, I am usually driving. Either my car or a rental car.

I have a hard time sleeping in a moving vehicle, so usually not.

Yes, if I'm not driving.

I fall asleep easily long distance when I'm not the one driving. When I was in high school, I used to fall asleep on the bus every morning on the way to school.

In 1981 I learned how to sleep on the gravel beside the railway tracks. or on the railway tracks or pretty much anywhere else. Quickly Learned to look for red ants before laying down.

Yes; I did sleep on a bus on a trip once from San Antonio to San Francisco. And again on a bus trip from San Antonio to Mobile, Ala.

Took a bus from home, Saskatoon to Winnipeg. Tranny went after two hours, new bus took four hour to get to us.. Then we discovered it wasn't a straight shot Winnipeg. Went through Neepawa, 15 hours total trip.
