Relaxing. I stayed home and chilled because I went out on the 3rd this year and partied! 😄

I ended up having to work so my husband and I didn't get to do anything.

I normally have to work every year on the 4th so I've gotten to where I expect it. This year I had to close instead of open. Normally, when I open, I get off in time to go do something still but I ended up having to close this year so I told my hubby he was going to be on his own as far as what to eat for dinner. Plus, I had to turn around and work the very next morning so I didn't want to go anywhere and make myself extremely tired because I was up half the night. So, I just went home, took a shower, and read until I got tired enough to go to bed.

Maybe next year you can request the day off and have a proper 4th (if you care about this holiday that is... its not really high on my list of favorite holidays personally).
