Is it acceptable to wear pajamas in public?

Wearing pyjamas in public? ........Nope, not acceptable

I’d say more, but I’ll spare everyone the rant

No. If you're too lazy to dress yourself, who knows what else you don't do around the house.

No. I don't really want to see people with poor hygiene prancing around in their pajamas at Wal-Mart.

I see that more & more of that in places besides WalMart. :D
Nah; I just gotta get out of my WalMart clothes whenever I go there.

I guess I don't really mind it as long as their clothed. I wouldn't do it myself, but it does look a little "IDGAF".

I don't really mind, either; but somehow I'm just not tempted to go along with that as the new fashion trend. It' just kind of, errrrrrr, 'interesting' to see what does seem acceptable with the changing times. :D

Shit, I better not go there naked .:censored:
When I worked there part time, a homeless man came in wearing just a shirt and nothing else, literally nothing else. They called the police & he got arrested.

I'd never do it myself.

If someone else did, I'd find it weird, but just let them get on with their day.

But back when I used to go to the supermarket often (I usually get delivery now a lot of times), one thing always stood out to me.
It’s families bringing young kids to the supermarket in their pyjamas, especially around 4:30 pm. I never understood it.

I’d see kids rolling around on the floor......whether they were upset, bored, or just being kids, and I’d think, why are they already in their pyjamas? If they’re wearing pyjamas, it usually means they’ve had a bath and are clean, ready for bed.
when they get home, they’re put straight to bed in those same pyjamas.
I could understand if it were late at night or if they were babies in prams who wouldn’t touch anything, but this? It always seemed a bit strange to me.

And really, it’s the adults’ fault.

In the past, it would have been unheard of and socially unacceptable to wear PJs in public. However, times have changed, and people have learned to not give a shit. Something that people need to consider is, who is the fashion police that said you can only wear jeans or shorts in public? What fashion police is saying sweat pants is a no no? Sweat pants are pants. They cover up what needs to be covered, and look like any other pants. What's the issue?

As long as their PJs leave them fully clothed and nothing inappropriate is showing, what's wrong with being comfortable while in public?

I've known the manager of a local grocery store for some time now, and not all that long ago, back in the Fall, he was exasperated because he had to explain to a young woman who was on her first week as a cashier that she had to go home and change because she'd come to work in pajama pants. She had on a blouse with the store vest over it, but was wearing flannel PJ pants.

I asked him if she had on fuzzy slippers as well, and he laughed.
