....still think we're not at war with radical Islamists?
A man who considered members of Congress as "enemies" and planned to launch an attack on the U.S. Capitol, was arrested with in Ohio Wednesday with two semi-automatic weapons and 600 rounds of ammunition.
According to a Justice Department complaint, Christopher Lee Cornell, 20, of Green Township, Ohio, planned to shoot employees of Congress and detonate a bomb at the Capitol.
Cornell was described as a sympathizer of the Islamic State terror group, according to a story from Fox News.
According to the story, a Justice Department official told Fox News that Cornell's plan was "not operational," and that the public was never in danger.
A National Public Radio story says Cornell, a self-proclaimed ISIL supporter, was known online as Raheel Mahrus Ubaydah. He was arrested because he "purchased and possessed firearms in furtherance of a plan to shoot and kill United States Government officers and employees."
Another part of the complaint said Cornell operated a Twitter account where he posted support for violent jihad. (Alabama Media)
