What life lesson did you learn the hard way?

Tolerating violence in a relationship = Bad.

No matter how hard you try to buy or win your mothers love, sometimes you just can't. Not all mothers automatically love their children.



However, once you've finally learnt that lesson, you come to realise you're not the stupid worthless simpleton that she's always told you you were. You can actually begin to believe that you really ARE the nice person your friends say you are. (Although this is extremely hard as you doubt yourself constantly).



Also, you can use bad parenting as an example of how not to bring up your own children. Break the cycle. If you're ever stuck on what decision to make you simply think about what choice the bad parent would have made...and you make the opposite one. It works every time!

We think alike and I've hoped for years that one day I'll find out I was adopted.

That's what they thought about me (though moreso my mother, though papa bear isn't much better) on good days...



I always wanted a sister, too...can I trade you for my younger brother?
