I'd love to have long hair, but it's sadly not accepted anymore these days.

Who cares what other people say...

Anyway I have a buzz cut. Dont have to brush it and dont have to worry about it getting messed up.

Still the same.

After having long, medium, and short hair, I much prefer short hair as it is easier to take care of. I am a low-maintenance kinda gal, and I seriously hate having to take more than five minutes to dry and style my hair. That doesn't mean I don't want to do anything with it, but it seems pointless to me to spend that much time on making myself look presentable. If I can do it within minutes, that is my preference. When I had a pixie, it was super cute and soooo easy to take care of. I'd run the dryer over it for two or three minutes, run some product through it, and be on my way. But everyone keeps telling me that they like me better with longer hair, and I guess I'm letting them talk me into growing it out. I won't let it get as long as it used to be, but so far its in a medium-length bob style.

@Dee - Just stick with what you feel most comfortable with. I'm a low maintenance kind of guy myself, and I hate having to take a lot of time to style my hair.

I guess I'm a little indecisive myself and a bit wish-washy. Sometimes I want longer hair, sometimes I just want it to be short. I know in the end I want the least amount of work, but I'm sure I'll figure something out. xD

I average one haircut about every six months or so, and when I do get it cut, I only have the lady that has been cutting it do "damage control" and take off the split ends and whatnot.

Even though my hair grows rather slowly, between said trips, it tends to get pretty shaggy, and looks even more gray than it really is, or so I think anyway.

As does my beard. I try to keep it somewhat trimmed, but that's essentially a lost cause. So she evens it up too.

Right now, about three months since my last visit to the haircut lady, I'm fairly well gone toward the "mountain man, hippie, Old Testament Prophet" side of things.

I keep this mess clean, and somewhat brushed, and if somebody at church doesn't like it and mentions the verse "it's a shame for a man to have long hair" I congratulate them on knowing A verse from Corinthians, then I ask them about one in First Thessalonians chapter 4. Particularly verses 11 and 12...

They never seem to know that one.

and to make it your ambition to lead a quiet life: You should mind your own business and work with your hands, just as we told you, so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that you will not be dependent on anybody.

and... oh, yes. Paul says it is a 'shame', not a sin. There's a difference.

I like my hair long, although I do have side bangs. I often tease my hair and put a bandana around my forehead so it just wouldn't look good if it was short, haha. Besides, when I have short hair it spirals up. No thanks!

I don't mind either way, but it usually depends on the season. In the summer months, I'd prefer to have shorter hair so that I'd be cooler, & then in the winter months, I'd prefer to have longer hair so I can be warmer. .-.

I like my hair short.

Military style buzz cut. I've been sporting it since my time in the military. Very convenient and easy to maintain. Sometimes I let it grow a bit longer, but I can't stand any length beyond buzz cut for too long anymore.

What I got left I usually keep short.

I prefer short hair because it's easier to take care of. My hair, when long enough, gets greasy overnight and I have to wash it daily because of that. I'd rather be near-bald than have a lot of hair to mess with.
